Coffee: Babysitting Jules

Many of you know that I have a little friend named Jules the Jack Russell Terrier! I first met Jules when she was only a 2-month-old. Her dad needed to go somewhere for a couple days so as a good doggie I offered my help by babysitting Jules for the weekend!

When Jules first came to my house, OMG, I wondered if she realized how tiny she was…. I had to be very careful not to squash her! Jules was a bit scared of me at the beginning - can’t blame her tho! For her size I must look like a giant doggie!


After a few plays Jules found that I wasn’t scary at all! So she started acting like herself and became very playful and bouncy, flying in the house just like my other Jack Russell friends!

I was a very good host, I showed her around the house and told her where the dining room was…


Where the bathroom was…


And where my bed was…


We played and played and played for hours! Man! This girl was so energetic and she never got tired!


Then, it was time for a nap... but guess what! Jules took my bed and decided to sleep on it!!!


I politely asked her to go back to her own bed but she wanted to swap bed with me just for the night…Humph! How can it be possible, didn’t she realize her bed was only equal to the size of my head?


So I decided to take her to her own bed, then we can all have a good night sleep and play later…


But this naughty girl kept jumping out from her bed and trying to wake me up, asking me to play with her!! Hey Jules you are a baby puppy and you really need heaps of sleep, go back to your bed!


I had to get up and put her in the bed again!


And this time I also decided to stay here and supervise her!!


Finally, Jules felt a bit tired and fell asleep, I can also get some rest, phew!
Babysitting is never an easy job I am telling you!


Jules’ Dad came to pick her up the day after, he told me I did a great job looking after Jules. Hehehe! Actually, I love to babysit Jules too! We had heaps of fun together! She is such a cute little girl, I love to have her around!

[Kitchen*]星期六，火腿蛋捲

Weekend，每個星期最值得期待的兩天。
在一覺好眠後醒來，星期六的早晨，是輕鬆一天的開始，也是犒賞自己一整個禮拜認真工作的時候。我喜歡好好準備一份快速又好吃的早餐，配上一杯咖啡， 我的一天就會有著滿滿的活力。
在十分鐘內就準備好的蛋捲，通常都是我星期六早餐的最佳夥伴。不需要特別準備，只要用那些在冰箱裡就能找到的材料就能變出的早餐，特別適合悠閒的假日。

只要利用這些材料：
1. 蛋一顆
2. 牛奶
3. 奶油
4. 土司兩片（切邊）
5. 火腿四片（可用其他材料代替，如培根，肉鬆，suasage等）
6. 起司（可有可無）




第一步：捲蛋捲
首先，先打蛋，加入些奶油和牛奶，攪拌均勻備用。
切邊土司用桿麵棍桿薄桿平，舖上起司，再加上火腿，捲成蛋捲的形狀。
把蛋捲泡到打好的蛋汁裡，讓它充分吸收滿滿的蛋汁！
我都會在麵包的黏合處特意加上一點起司，因為加熱後起司會融化，這樣蛋捲才黏的緊喔！


第二步：煎蛋捲
加入奶油，小火熱鍋，將做好的蛋捲放入鍋內慢慢的煎。
先煎麵包黏合處，等到蛋捲成型，翻面再煎。
等到蛋捲慢慢呈現金黃色，表示蛋捲已經熟啦！
這時只要將它切成口口吃的份量，裝盤，蛋捲就完成了。
兩捲蛋捲大概就是一份早餐的份量。
